I have my own what??

OK...so here is my first blog! I don't know how to do it or how it works, but here it is! Why am I doing this again?

My husband is a computer nerd and he will fully admit to that, so I figured that it was my turn to try to figure out all this web stuff. I have never attempted to do anything such as this, so be patient, but I think that it will be fun and I will learn! We will see! I guess what I am saying is that I want to be a nerd!

If you wonder about the name of our blog, it is because we are from East Texas and we are planning to adopt from China sometime in the future...hence the far East! Adoption is something that we feel very called to do and China holds a special place in our hearts. China has an age requirement that both parents must be 30 years old to adopt! I am not quite there and since my husband cannot give me a couple of his years...we wait! I never thought that I would look forward to turning 30!!

We can actually start working on our paperwork when I turn 29 1/2 and we have ten months from today until that day arrives, so this is going to be a very long blog!! In the mean time, we have several other things going so.... enjoy our life as we know it!
