Back to the Blog!

I know that it has been well over a month since I have blogged, but I figured that today is a good a time as any to start again. August was spent trying to recoup from the trip and getting back into the groove of work. Work kept us both busy. September came and went and I don't even remember what happened. My hubby spent LOTS of time at the deer lease and I spent time doing a few more home improvement projects. Yet, there are hundreds left to do. October is here, but no fall weather to be found! We are looking forward to that...especially my hubby! Deer hunting is not fun in 95 degree weather in October! We have a garage sale at the end of the month so pray for fall temps!!

We do have a bright spot! We are planning on going back to China (Fushun) next summer and we received our tentative travel dates yesterday....June 25 - July 7! We are so excited! We received a letter from the 19 year old boy, Lucus, that was at the orphanage the last couple of days that we were there. It is really written to my husband because he thought of (and thinks of) him as an older brother. It was sent to us from another couple and we had to have it translated, but knowing that he wrote it was enough for my hubby to say..."We have to go back there!"

We are excited about (hopefully) being about to go back there! We miss the children and think of them often. My screen saver and desk has the pictures to prove that! Until then, we wait!
