Tag and Random Picture Wednesday!!

My friend Brooke tagged me...so here are the answers to her tag!

1. What are some of your preferences that have changed since you were young?

I, like Brooke, hated tomatoes and I was allergic to them when I was young. Now I will eat them alone, but not on everything. I also hated avocados and guacamole and now I cannot get enough. I used to love chicken a lot and it was almost the only meat that I would eat (except for a steak - I have issues with ground beef), but now, I really have to crave chicken (or any meat for that matter) to eat it! Also, I used to be terrified of the dark and not go outside at night! Now I live in the boonies and have to have it completely dark when I sleep.

2. Rank the seasons in the order you like them most.

Fall - I love when you need a light sweater and the temperatures start to drop. I love the colors of the changing leaves and when you need a blanket at the football game! Perfect!!

Spring - I love the buds on the trees and when it is so pretty and nice outside that you feel the need to go outside and just enjoy or work on a project because you have not felt like going outside in the yucky cold!

Summer - When I can hop in the pool after work or on a Saturday afternoon...plus my birthday is in the summer and I only have to work four days a week! Now that is something to smile about!!

Winter - I like the feel (every once in awhile) but I am always so cold and I do not like being cold! I like snow, but I hate cold and rainy!

If you could live in one city for the rest of your life, which one would it be? And if you could only live in one country (besides the USA) for the rest of your life, and never go anywhere else, where would it be?

Well, I like where I live now! It is not really in the city, but I like the country. If I had to pick a city, I would probably choose downtown Dallas in a loft (thanks Richard). That is until we have kids! I just like that you can walk to a lot of places and everything seems convenient. I hate the traffic, but I love that there are so many Central Markets and Whole Foods close by! Or maybe New York City...it is not what I expected and there is always something to do!

Now, I know that none of you would have guessed that the country that I would pick would be China. I really am fascinated by the culture! I have only been to a few limited places in China, but everything is so diverse. I feel like I could live there because I could always find something that is westernized to make me feel at home! Plus, I know that I have a baby girl (or girls) that are there waiting for us (or that will be waiting for us when we are ready to adopt!)

I tag Jan (because I know that she reads my blog) but she is cruising the Mediterranean right now! I am sure that she is having fun!

And now....Random Picture Wednesday! I love my little Dekky-Doo so much that I have to share the cutest picture ever with you! He was asleep and I had to sneak in to take a picture! He woke up, but his little face is priceless! He did not enjoy me waking him up, but he made me smile!

Hey, I don't have kids and he is the closest thing, so cut me some slack!
