Counting the days...

So here it is...December! And obviously I am a few days late in blogging because it is already the 3rd and I am just now realizing it! WOW, is all I can say because we have something every weekend and most weeknights that will fill our whole month, but by the time that December 24 rolls around I hope that all will be complete and I can enjoy some much needed time off. Unfortunately, my time off does not come with a paycheck since I used all my vacation time for China. But we are blessing to have had that experience in the summer. Luckily, I have almost all of my Christmas shopping done and what I don't have done can be ordered online. Plus, we have so many family Christmases that it typically drags into the new year, but we are doing them all early this year and I am excited that we will finally have a Christmas morning at our house, which I hope to be the trend from here on out. I bought a new tree and all new ornaments and it looks beautiful, especially with all of my wrapped presents under the tree! Blessed that they are all ready to go! My parents and grandparents are all heading to our house for Christmas, which has never happened.

This year we have a special blessing of Baby P-Body. She (or he) is close to being with us, but we are blessed that we get to enjoy the idea of her and can't wait to celebrate with her next year. She is not showing much. I notice it more than anyone else, but I did buy some maternity clothes this weekend...not that I need them. (Daddy and I enjoyed trying on the fake bump at Motherhood Maternity and got a good laugh and what might be to come!) At halfway through this pregnancy, I am ready to see and feel her more, but am blessed that I am feeling better, have not gained any weight (actually lost 6 pounds), and can still fit into all my regular clothes, even some that were too small before I got pregnant! I hope to have some time during my "unpaid" vacation to prepare her room, even though she does not have anything yet! I am sure that between Ge, Gigi, Pops, Nana, Papa Tex, Papa Fisher, and all her aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, she will have a big Christmas before she even arrives! How blessed we are!

I will post more on Monday once we find out the final verdict on Miss or Mr. P-Body!

I am so jealous! Even in my first pregnancy I was in maternity jeans in the first trimester. And don't even get me started about this pregnancy. I think I am working ona 9 pounder!
I pray you get some rest during your marathon month!
