So I'm still trying to update my heading for the blog, but I just cannot find the time! Where does all my time go? I am trying to learn how to balance everything in life and not doing a very good job of it! Before the new job, I worked 8-4:30 and carpooled into work and home with my hubby. Now I work 8-5 and we have to drive our separate ways into work. Since he works 7-4, and is home by 4:30 and I work until 5 and do not get home until 5:30, it makes for lots of time that I feel like I am missing with him. Not to mention that on some days this year, I was leaving the house at 4:30 AM to head to the gym, so I missed mornings as well! And since I require 8 hours or more sleep at night, bedtime was 8pm! I have been working late due to a sales meeting coming up next week and when I get home (7pm last night), I am too tired to think about doing anything but a quick bath and dinner...which has been sad the last few weeks! I have zero facebook, personal e-mail, scrapbooking, house project, cooking/cleaning, etc. time! How can I get on a schedule when I have no idea what each day will bring?? Better yet...why can't I just stay home!?!
I have friends that are stay at home mom's and they love it! That is what I want to do, but so many people tell me that I will get tired of it! I beg to differ!! I love, LOVE, being at home. I can find so much stuff to do around the house that I do not think that I would ever get bored. I have projects upon projects that I would love to complete if I just had the time. On weekends, very rarely do we go out and do things because we have so much that could be done at home and I enjoy having my hubby and my Dekker dog all to myself!! Guess we need kids to try out this experiment, but I just know that I would be so much happier!! I might be stressed about $$$, but I guess that you learn to do what you need to do to make things work!
Wow...I got way off subject. So since I am here, no news on the adoption front! Our dossier is being prepped to send to China, but since Chinese New Year (Xin nian yu kuai - that's Happy New Year in Chinese) started on Monday, once it arrives, we may have to wait a little longer for a log-in date since everyone is celebrating. All in God's time!
Pray for balance...and babies...and lots of time off!!
