What an important date, and to be honest, I have no idea what I was doing on this date. What I do know is that God answered part of our prayers on this date and from this date forward, we are in line for our beautiful baby girl (or girls) in China.

March 3, 2009. Our Log-in Date (LID).

It is a big deal because this means that China has looked over all of our mounds of paperwork that has taken us almost a full year to complete and has agreed to put us in line for one of their precious daughters.

Chances are that she has not even been born yet, but that does not mean that I do not pray everyday for her. And for her family that will have to make what seems to me as the hardest decision of their life, to let her go. I pray that God protects her during the time until she is ours. I pray that God gives grace and peace to her family to know that what they are doing is the right decision and that He will protect her. I pray for us that we can be the kind of parents that God wants us to be.

Wow! What a day to remember!

Now that it is official, only 36-37 months to wait. So worth it for the one that God has for us!
