Today is our three month log-in anniversary for our adoption. Not much going on, just makes me think about how much longer that we have to wait. It is going to be a long time...
We pick up the "new" Harley today if the rain stays away. The guy from the shop said that it looks "killer" with the new pipes and sounds "incredible". Isn't that really what it is all about!?! Guess I just don't get it. But I am sporting orange and black for the occasion...purely by accident.
We bought tickets today for a Dallas Cowboys game with a couple of great friends. I am excited about that. And we are also meeting a group of our friends that day for lunch. Some of them I have not seen in a couple of years. We don't live that far apart, but life aways gets in the way. Glad that we can make the time to get together.
Had dinner with two of my favorite people last night and am so blessed to have their friendship. It is so great to have people that you can talk to about pretty much anything. I love those girls! Also, know lots of people who are expecting babies over the next few months. At least ten I can name off the top of my head! So exciting...but I am not one of them!
Thirteen days and counting until our trip to China. I am getting excited and already feel the need to pack. The next couple of weeks will be busy with family reunions, Sunday School parties, greeting at church, haircuts, doctor appointments, family visiting, and more. I know that I need to start getting things together now and have a To-Do list that is a mile long. It will all come together like always and we are going to have to get by with less this year because they have cut us to one checked bag each! Packing will be a true test.
Not much else going on, so I figure that is enough of my rambling today! Happy Wednesday!
