Goal....Continued!!

This morning we received an e-mail about our trip from our team leader and we do not know much more about it or the orphanage. We do now know for sure that this orphanage has about 50 children, 30 of which are age 0-1 year old. The remainder of the children range from 1-12 years of age! Wow! Our team leader suggested that we break into teams and each plan an event for the older children for the days that we are there, basically theme days like sports/field day, safari day, princess themed day, etc. We would plan games, crafts, songs, etc. for that day! I can handle it all, except the songs. They will run and hide if I sing!! I am getting excited about the trip and planning everything!

Another thing that I am excited about is to tell you how God has answered our prayers. We have estimated that the trip is going to cost us about $6000. In her e-mail, our team leader also told us that our first payment of $1400 ($2800 for the both of us) is due NOW!! We did not have an estimate of what each payment would be, so this gives us an idea! I had already paid $1000 online towards our trip and this week we received three donations from friends and family that will help us make that first payment! God is good and we want to thank my Papa Fisher and our friends Mr. and Mrs. I and Rusty and Dotti and their kids for their incredible donations! We love you all and know that we are blessed by your love and friendship! This is just more proof that God is providing for our trip and I know that He will continue and make it possible for us to go!

On a more personal note, we have done pretty good this week about working out. I am proud of what I have been able to do! I also went to "FC" (fat camp) this week and I only lost .2 pounds, but I am not giving up! I can do it! Now, where's the chocolate!?!
