We cannot let the week go by without acknowledging the events that took place on the Virginia Tech campus on Monday! It is hard to understand, hard to watch, and hard to accept! I think that it is fair to say that people all over the world have been touched by the tragedy! As I Christian, I believe that we are not always meant to know why something happened. If we knew all of the answers in life, we would not see the need to depend on God. I believe that God sees the BIG picture when we only see a fraction. He knows why this happened and He knows the good that will come out of it. I did not lose someone in this tragedy, but I know that we cannot hold anger towards the person who committed these acts. His family needs prayers, just as the families and students that are consumed with loss need prayer. Prayer changes things...and often changes hearts. We serve a big God and he is bigger than the events that happen at Virginia Tech! Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families, students, and everyone related to this tragedy!
