Needs of the Orphanage!!

We finally received the list of needs from the orphanage....and boy, are they BIG!! Everything, with the exception of one or two things are items that we will purchase in China. It is cheaper to buy things there and we could not carry some of the items over anyway. The BIG news is that the cost of the items is going to be around $7000. That means that our group needs to raise more than that in case we get there are there are items that they really need and didn't ask for!

Here is what they requested... three air conditioners for children's bedrooms, four washing machines, a digital camera, a video camera, an electric stove, an electric rice cooker, twenty urinal chairs for special needs children, four beds for brain paralysis children, correctional shoes, five walkers, five baby carriages, three clocks, clothes for babies, detergent for cleaning, thirty pairs of slippers, cotton cloth for diapers, plastic flooring, and rubber toys!

WOW! The list seems daunting and so does the money to provide, but we know that God is bigger than the both! Please pray for our team as we all continue to raise money for our trip and for the needs of the orphanage! If you feel led to donate, please pray about how you might give. If you decide to donate items, the best items would be blankets, socks, slippers, baby clothes, and travel size toiletry items.
