And Dudley makes four...

So remember how I have mentioned over the past month that I am ready to be a mommy...well, I guess that I got my wish, in the most unlikely way! Friday, a friend of mine (and my former boss) sent me a text message that her in laws could not keep the yorkie puppy that they bought two weeks ago because of her mother-in-law's allergies. She asked if we would be interested. I figured convincing my husband to get a second dog would be hard. I have tried to do this in the past to no avail! But, he said yes right off the bat! He figured that our Dekker needed a brother and a playmate and that it might take some of the pressure (or jealousy!) off when we have babies in the house! (By the way, he is getting into this "I might be a daddy soon" role!!) So we went to pick him up on Friday night and brought him home to meet Dekker and Audrey (my former dog, currently living with my parents because they could not give both of us up when I got married, and who we were dog-sitting for the week!). We fell in love instantly with Dudley, but Dekker and Audrey were another story! They are just not sure how to deal with him. Dudley picks on Dekker like Dekker picks on Audrey! And Audrey just hates all of them! When Audrey went home yesterday, the night was a little better with just the two little ones! Dekker likes to cuddle with me, but he loves my hubby!! He is a daddy's boy, but I think that Dudley will be a mommy's boy! Dekker is not completely sold on having a little brother, but he is getting better! So now here we are...a family of four!!
