Our Furry Graduate!

Dekker graduated from obedience school last night as Salutatorian of his class of eight. He missed "Top Dog" by two points because he has trouble with his "stands" and during the three minute "down", he got up with 40 seconds left. He did lay back down, but he still got one point taken off. We are proud of him because he is the smallest student in the class and the teacher commented that I would have the most trouble because smaller dogs are harder to train than large dogs. She really bragged on Dekker last night and said that he needs to start the advanced classes because she thinks that he could win some titles in some dog shows if we got into it! We are contemplating the advanced classes, but what we would really like to accomplish is potty training! Dekker earned a new waterbowl and a new toy for his hard work! As you can see from the picture, he was excited about his diploma! Now if we can come up with a way to only pay $60 for our future kids to earn their diploma!
