Oh, Happy (Birth)Day!

Two years ago I posted this. I was wishing my hubby a Happy Birthday and told him because he never reads my blog that I was going to trade in his Harley Sportster for a V-Rod (which happens to be my favorite Harley because it is pretty, although I have been told that I cannot call it that!). It was a joke because he never reads my blog and so I got off scott-free!

Well, it is his birthday again and this time, he got his wish. He is (although it is not in his possession yet) the proud new owner of a new (to him) 2003, Harley Davidson, 100th Anniversary Edition, VRSC V-Rod. I am sure that this will be his best birthday ever and I can fairly say that I will never again be getting him a Harley for his birthday present. Actually, it is not a bad deal because we traded one for the other. It just cost me a few accessories and one was a new hiney-friendly seat for me. And, this would be my bike of choice. I have said that since I saw it back in 2003, so I am okay with the trade. I might even have to take the safety course and make it "my" new bike as well!

So Happy Birthday, honey! I hope that it is your best one yet and that you know how much I love you and how much Dekker and Dudley love you. And I am sure that if we had "real" kids, they would love you, too. (Hint! Hint!) Enjoy your new toy and remember that my birthday is only about two months away...start saving! I want something pretty as well.
